CANCELLATION ON YOUR PART DUE TO COVID

​

You are advised to ensure you have adequate travel insurance which includes COVID cover as in the event that you or one of your party develop symptoms of COVID-19 and this prevents you from travelling you will still be liable for the total cost of your booking.

 

CANCELLATION ON OUR PART DUE TO COVID

 

If the property becomes unavailable or unusable or, as Owners, we have to cancel the booking for any reason e.g. due to UK /Scottish government restrictions for reasons relating to coronavirus, at any point prior to arrival, then our sole obligation is to confirm the cancellation of the booking to you as soon as possible and reimburse you for all payments made to us or offer credit voucher against a future stay. We are not liable for any consequential damage or losses incurred. We can help you find a similar alternative accommodation but cannot guarantee this will be available. In such cases, our liability to you will be limited to returning all monies received by us for your booking (or moving your booking plus money paid to another suitable date).

 

LIMITING LIABILITY FROM ANY INFECTION

 

We comply with UK/Scottish/Government cleaning protocols in the context of COVID-19 to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. By making your booking, you agree that we have taken all reasonable steps to do so.

Check in / Check out
• Check in time – After 4pm on day of arrival. If you are arriving after 8pm please advise us and we will provide a code for the key box.
• Check out – By 10am on day of departure.

 

Pricing
All prices shown are in Pounds Sterling (£) for rental of the whole house. Prices are subject to change without notice. However, your price is guaranteed once you are given a confirmation and payment has been made. MINIMUM stay 3 Nights in low season. Minimum stay 7 nights in High Season (Saturday to Saturday).

Bookings
We cannot guarantee to hold a provisional reservation longer than 7 days, by which time the booking must be confirmed in writing or e-mail.
Accepting accommodation by telephone, e-mail or in writing means you have entered into a legally binding contract.

Deposits and pre-payments
You will be asked to guarantee your booking by card payment. Persons making a booking will be required to pay for their booking in full. 

Number of persons using the property
The maximum number of guests occupying the property is  up to 6 Adults and 1 baby sleeping in a travel cot.

Cancellations and amendments

You are advised to ensure you have booked your Ferries/Flights at the same time as booking with us as availability of transport links can be very limited at peak holiday times.

Please note that losses arising from the cancellation or curtailment of confirmed contracts – where we are unable to re-let the accommodation –  shall incur the following cancellation charges:

--30 days or more prior to arrival - Full refund of contract value.

–14 days, but less than 30 days prior to the date of arrival – 50% of contract value.
– Less than 14 days prior to arrival – 100% of Contract Value
We recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance, which should include cover for cancellation due to Covid-19.

What the price includes
Prices include full use of the facilities in the whole house. Free onsite parking for up to 3 cars. Free WI-FI. Linen and towels.

Car Parking
Vehicles parked at the property are left at the owners’ risk and the proprietors cannot take responsibility for any damage caused to vehicles or other property left in the vicinity of Willow Cottage.

Smoking of cigarettes or e- cigarettes
Smoking is NOT permitted within the property – should we find any evidence that this rule has been broken there will be a minimum cleaning fee of £50.00. Unfortunately, you shall be asked to leave and your custom no longer welcome.

Pets. Sorry, strictly no pets allowed.

Breakage or damage (Other than fair Wear and Tear and small breakages)
The client is legally bound to reimburse the proprietors of Willow Cottage for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs on demand in the event of substantial property damage or breakages.

Right of entry
The proprietor shall be allowed the right of entry to the property to effect repairs or rectify any faults notified to him. 

Restriction on Accommodation

We do not accept Stag parties, Hen parties or similar groups.
We reserve the right to remove any person or persons from the property due to unreasonable behaviour, damage to the property or exceeding the stated occupancy. In this case, any refund will be at the discretion of the owners.

Liability

Willow Cottage or its proprietors do not accept liability to the holidaymaker for any loss, damage or injury howsoever caused to the holidaymaker or to the holidaymaker’s personal property.
